'I'm very impressed
with the inventiveness of your compositions and especially the sensitivity
of your phrasing and touch.'

'I love the
Christoph Adams Trio, its one of my favourite trios ever. This is
a trio of integrated musicians that breath as one.
Space is the keynote here . It's been said that what's not played
is as important as what's played. Christoph has plenty of 'chops'
but uses his technique to shape space and time in such magical ways:
His compositions are gems of rare beauty.
Having had the pleasure of playing with Paul Bley and Bill Evans,
I hear Christoph's influences from these great players. He has developed
a style that is totally his, taking space, time and touch from Paul
and Bill and turning it into something that for me is unique to
Christoph. Ed and Ernst play with Christoph in an almost psychic
way, ESP is happening all the time. There are so many beautiful
feelings and interplay that on repeated hearing new moments emerge.
There is a deeply romantic essence underlying this music, tunes
like Metamorphosis and Ulysses Theme stay in my mind. A night in
Bongolia is a wild latinesque tune with Ernst's special Latin feeling,
and his brush work I've always dug.
I love this trio, everything is a joy and..........WOW!'
